TC Energy (TRP), established in 1951 and rebranded from TransCanada in 2019, is a North American energy infrastructure leader. Its operations span five units: Canadian, U.S., and Mexican natural gas pipelines, liquids pipelines, and power/storage. It manages 93,300 km of gas pipelines and 4,900 km of liquids lines transporting crude from Alberta to U.S. refining hubs. The firm also operates 653 Bcf of total gas storage capacity and seven power plants across Canada, generating 4,300 MW via gas and nuclear.
