Its core product, the Bloom Energy Server, uses an electrochemical process to convert natural gas, biogas, or hydrogen into power without combustion. Serving critical infrastructure, the company supports data centers, hospitals, biotech facilities, and telecommunications. Founded in 2001 as Ion America Corp. and based in San Jose, California, it adopted its current name in 2006.
