Eni S.p.A. is an international energy company focused on the discovery, development, and extraction of oil and natural gas. Operations span five divisions: Exploration & Production (including carbon capture and forestry); Global Gas & LNG; Refining, Marketing, and Chemicals; and Plenitude and Power, which provides retail electricity and renewable energy. Established in 1953 and based in Rome, Eni held 6,628 million barrels of oil equivalent in reserves and 4.5 GW of power capacity as of 2021.
