For lending, Peoples Bank provides various credit options, including commercial real estate and general commercial loans, construction and land development financing, and agricultural loans. For personal needs, it extends single-family residential, standard residential mortgage, and Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) mortgage loans. Beyond traditional banking, the company furnishes investment advisory services and a range of non-deposit investment instruments, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and tax-deferred annuities, supported by brokerage services. It also handles real estate appraisal and brokerage. Furthermore, Peoples Bancorp operates an appraisal clearing-house for other community banks and manages, acquires, and sells real property and other assets obtained through debt collection. An insurance agency is also part of its service portfolio. As of year-end 2021, the company maintained a substantial presence across North Carolina, with 17 full-service banking branches in cities including Lincolnton, Newton, Denver, Catawba, Conover, Maiden, Claremont, Hiddenite, Hickory, Charlotte, Cornelius, Mooresville, Raleigh, and Cary. Additionally, it operates loan production offices in Charlotte, Denver, Salisbury, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Established in 1912, Peoples Bancorp of North Carolina, Inc. maintains its headquarters in Newton, North Carolina.
