Additionally, the company engages in mortgage origination and delivers mortgage banking services through its branch network across the southeastern U.S. and via its digital platforms. Further services include trust, insurance, investment advisory, and modern online and mobile banking capabilities. As of December 31, 2021, FB Financial maintained a physical presence with 82 full-service and 9 limited-service bank branches across Tennessee, Northern Alabama, Southern Kentucky, and Northern Georgia, in addition to 23 mortgage offices situated throughout the southeastern United States. The company, which originated in 1906, was formerly known as First South Bancorp, Inc., before adopting the name FB Financial Corporation in 2016, and its headquarters are located in Nashville, Tennessee.
